Bio

My passion for film and photography began at a young age. Films like Jaws, Alien, and Blade Runner left a lasting impression on me as a kid. These films inspired me to become a photographer and to start making my own films. 

After high school, I studied photography for two years at Fotoskolan Jönköping, where I developed both my technical skills and my artistic approach to photography. It was there that I discovered my passion for the analog photography process and portraiture. During my time at Fotoskolan, I produced two photography books (Artists and Silent Landscapes) consisting entirely of medium and large format photography. Working with medium and large format film taught me the importance of patience and intention, which has greatly influenced my approach to photography and filmmaking. While portrait photography remains my primary focus, I also work with architecture and documentary photography. 

After studying photography, I decided to pursue my dream of becoming a cinematographer and earned a Bachelor's degree in Medie- och kommunikationsvetenskap, inriktning film at Örebro University. During my studies, I worked as a cinematographer on several short films (Scarlet and Satellites), where I had the opportunity to combine my love for film theory with the practical parts of filmmaking. These projects allowed me to develop my own visual style that combines what I learned from my photography background with what I learned from studying film theory.

Although cinematography is my primary focus, I also have extensive experience as an editor and sound mixer on a variety of film projects. Working across multiple stages of production has given me a broader understanding of the filmmaking process and enables me to contribute creatively from pre-production through post.
